Mentoring

Here at Blueprint, we are passionate about photography. We are building on this photographic community here in Falmouth and are lucky to have a wealth of experience from many different aspects of photographic practise. We are now offering 1hr mentoring sessions with one of the photographic practitioners below so please take a look at the brief biography and get in touch if you would like to know more.

The Mentors

Oliver Raymond Barker is an artist and educator based in Cornwall. He works with the mechanics and alchemy of photography to make images, objects and structures that expand upon what photography is and can be. Working predominantly with alternative analogue techniques he uses photography as a tool to uncover imagined narratives & unseen processes, framed by his interest in culture, ecology and spirituality.

Anthony Prothero is the director of Blueprint as well as the Course leader for Commercial Photography at Falmouth University. His interests lie in publishing as a form of practice, the photobook and more recently writing about and curating photography.

Catarina Fontoura’s artistic practice explores the relation between art, science, spirituality, story-telling and ecology. She is particularly interested in reconfiguring the land into entangled systems and stories, embedding human beings into non-human narratives and entities. Her work has been exhibited in Germany, USA, Mexico, UK and Portugal.
